Positive Living, Promoting Your Purpose

Positive Living, Promoting Your Purpose aims to provide all students with academic and social development programming that will result in improved academic achievement and self-confidence.

We believe that in order to change the achievement trajectory for at risk youth, the approach must be multifaceted including schooling systems changes, as well as, targeted academic and social development programming. Essentially, our goal is to assist youth in school so they are prepared to arrive at adulthood ready to live as positive and productive citizens. In pursuit of this end, FTH strives to ensure all students are fully developed whole beings cognitively, linguistically, emotionally, socially, physically, financially, and spiritually.

When the Game Clock Stops

Being an athlete can be both a rewarding or extremely disappointing experience. For many, the preparation for becoming an athlete begins early with gymnastics classes, Pop-Warner football, little league baseball, and community summer programs offering tennis, soccer, or swimming classes. Unfortunately, too many young people participate in athletics with limited education on intrapersonal development and are, consequently, unprepared to deal with all the twists and turns encountered on the journey toward a professional career in sports. Most do not make it that far primarily because the odds for achieving a sports career are stacked immensely against them.  Furthermore, many high school seniors who desire to play college sports are academically unprepared and fail to maintain the required minimum college grade point average.

Mr. and Mrs. McNabb

Mr. & Mrs. McNabb are extremely excited to share their vast experience and knowledge with parents who are seeking advice and direction in their roles as "Parents of Athletes." McNabb Consulting Network is the perfect entity to provide the help you need to make your life and experience an enjoyable one.

When the Game Clock Stops is a learning opportunity targeting school-aged athletes. Over the course of ten weeks, participants are encouraged to become more self-aware and make important connections to living their best lives by doing well in school and excelling in sports.
